In a recent poll 57% of women 18-30yrs old confirmed they changed lightbulbs in their homes, while unbelievably only 17% of their grandmothers would accept the challenge!
We’ve come a long way. Women today are far more likely to challenge DIY jobs around the house big and small and on the job site.
Tools enable us to complete tasks that our bodies alone cannot.

My experience as a teenager in the 80s is perhaps a little less than traditional. Being the eldest of 3 kids to a father that did everything himself, I was always recruited by my dad to help with projects around the house. We replaced tubs and tiles, ripped up floors and laid them down. Dad always treated me like I was capable and never expected less from me because Iwas a girl. I loved that; it made me feel like I could do anything.
The biggest issue I had was holding some of the tools comfortably. They were usually too big and too heavy for me to hold and control safely.
We created Seriously Pink Tools that are smaller and lighterthan traditional tools for men, but still have the power to aid women in completing jobs around the house comfortably.

Mom, hand your daughters a light bulb, a hammer or a drill and help her to build, while building independence, confidence, and self-esteem.
